Arts & Crafts Fair and Heritage Trail WeekendAn Arts and Crafts Fair and Heritage Trail weekend takes place on Saturday 16th 10am – 5pm & Sunday 17th July 1pm – 5pm.

26 artists and designer-makers are showcasing their work in the Grade 1 listed Refectory at St Andrew’s Church in Congresbury.  The range of arts and crafts covers paintings, prints, cards, jewellery, ceramics, batiks, mosaics, weavings and stitched textiles, with something to suit all tastes and styles.

The Heritage Trail comprises four medieval buildings which will be open to the public with volunteers on hand to describe the special features and history of each building, two of which are not normally accessible to the public.

Venues are:

  • Holy Saviours Church at Puxton, a 13th century gem, opens on Saturday only
  • St Andrews Church in Congresbury, built 801 years ago
  • The 15th century Refectory adjacent to St Andrews Church
  • St Andrews Church in Banwell, built 1380

Cream Teas, coffees and cakes are available at Banwell Church and in the Refectory, Congresbury.

Tickets are £5.00 each to cover access to all four venues and the Arts and Crafts Fair.  Full ticket only concessions for over 60’s and children under 12 are £3.00 per person.

Tickets are available from Congresbury Post Office, Morgan’s, Day Lewis Chemist in Congresbury, and Banwell News for Banwell residents, or at the venues on the day.
