North Somerset Re-Use Project - paint 300x225A non-profit making Social Enterprise – where Re-Use comes first.

This is where you bring us your unwanted garden related items, from pots to that half bag of pebbles and sand you keep “just in case”, from old tools you’ve replaced to the couple of paving stones you over ordered where the cost in petrol to take them back just isn’t worth it.

We act as a ‘hub’ for these donated items passing them on for a nominal and fair charge to the buyer. We simply believe that it’s got to be better for the environment if an item can be re-used before it’s re-cycled or put into landfill.

Some of the items you can bring in:
  • Pots and hanging baskets, window boxes, planters
  • Lawn mowers and other electrical & non-electrical equipment
  • Hand tools, rakes, hoes, spades etc.
  • Fence panels, sheds, greenhouses (frames and/or covers)
  • All garden furniture & ornaments
  • Bicycle frames, parts and tools
  • Fishing accessories
  • Camping and caravan equipment
  • Gates, hinges, brackets and wood cutting equipment
  • Tiles, rockery stones, bricks, paving slabs – any quantity
  • Small items of furniture (cabinets, shelves, tables etc)
  • Lots of other items too!

NOTE: Although we now sell paint which has been part used, we DO NOT accept containers of paint at the store. Please continue to take these to one of the three refuse sites in North Somerset – Portishead, Backwell, WsM – if it is paint which can be used by others, it will be delivered to NSRP in bulk from these sites.
